When I visited Tennessee I met some very nice artists who lived in the woods in a cabin. They where kind, sensitive, generous people. When they first started living in the woods they would have never cut down a tree but after a few years they realized that they needed more space. So they got a bulldozer to remove a bunch of the trees.
All humans want to cut down trees. Even very nice ones.
